The CBR theory exam consists of three parts:

1. Hazard recognition - 25 questions (minimum 13 correct).
2. Traffic rules - 30 questions (minimum 25 correct).
3. Traffic insight - 10 questions (minimum 10 correct).

When can you take theory exams?

You may take theory exams from 16 years (car licence) or 15.5 years (scooter/moped).
The certificate is valid for 1.5 years.
That means you can feel free to pass your theory a little earlier, as long as your practical exam follows within that timeframe.

  So you learn the basic rules and traffic signs step by step.
• Take practice exams.
  With that, you get used to the CBR's question format.

Hazard recognition is all about making quick decisions: brake, release throttle or do nothing.
